Here's a little short bio about your favorite designer!
I'm a student of design, and love learning new skills every chance I get. My passion for design sparked when I first was introduced to Photoshop in high school. Art was always an interest of mine since I've been drawing since elementary school. Now that I'm older, I'm taking my interest to soar through the creative industry to higher depths.
I come from a place where there's palm trees everywhere and the weather is mostly hot all year long, and that is Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Graphic Communications from Florida A&M University located in Tallahassee, Florida. And now, I currently have the opportunity to see all four seasons in the beautiful city of New York City.
I am a designer with a focus on visual design and motion graphics. My level of expertise consist of branding, photography, photo editing, web design and UI design, prototyping, print production, animation, and social media graphics. My passion for design has led me to pursue new skills in 3D animation and app and web development.

After five years of experience, I've managed to work for two amazing advertising agencies and a print shop.
My initial introduction into the creative industry was an opportunity as a design intern at the Pod Advertising. There, my skills were challenged on a national level by creating branding material for banks and credit unions. After a successful internship, my creative colleagues recognized the value I can potentially bring to the agency, and I was then hired on as a junior digital designer. During this role, my passion for digital design and animation grew everyday, and I was eager to learn more. This is what started my career as a designer.

Working at a print shop, I learned a variety of skills with commercial printing and production. The job was extremely fast paced and hands-on, and mistakes were very easy to make. Our clientele consisted of companies such as Papa Johns, FSU, and other nationally known corporations. I came to a realization that working in this environment is quite demanding and jobs must be completed thoroughly. As I got better with production, I helped the company reach a record in sales for the month of October, and we all received a bonus at the end of the month. I plan on using the skills I learned here as advantage for me in the industry.

My most recent job as Graphic Designer at Cade and Associates Advertising has taught me the most about myself. I was first hired to do specific designs for the clients we had, but as time went by, I realized that I can do more than what I was hired to do. Since my interest for web design increased, I taught myself the fundamentals of UI Design and prototyping. Adobe XD started to be one of my favorite software to use to build unique website prototypes and record videos for clients to have a visual representation of their potentially new website. Working here, I learned there's always something new to learn.

One of my most proud moments was when I won the award of "Best of Category" for three spreads I did on Paul Rand. I was invited to the award ceremony in Orlando, Florida. There ceremony had a Blues Brothers theme and excellent food that me and my family enjoyed.
Fun Fact
One fun fact about me is that I like to push myself limits I've never reach. I decided to take part in a 5K obstacle course under the company Spartan. It was the ultimate fitness test for me, and I powered through to the finish. In the end, I was proud of myself and I was fortunate enough to have an awesome photo taken of me during the race.
